Capital A Investment Bank, formerly Securities Africa Kenya Limited, has unveiled a new brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its journey after being upgraded from a licensed stockbroker to an investment bank by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).

The investment bank initially operated as a stockbroker, but now provides tailored investment advice across various financial instruments, including bonds, equities, Eurobonds, and corporate finance.

During the unveiling, Chairman Norris Kibe said the lender is keen on exploring new opportunities in diaspora remittances, impact financing, green financing, and Islamic finance, reinforcing its role in advancing the Kenyan financial services sector.

“This rebranding marks a significant milestone in our journey, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional value and empowering our clients to achieve their financial goals,” said Kibe.

Nairobi Securities Exchange chief executive Frank Mwiti on his part commended Capital A Investment Bank for its expansion into new financial services, underscoring the collective responsibility of building the Kenyan capital market.

“Capital A’s leadership and commitment to innovation will play a crucial role in the growth of the Kenyan capital market,” Mwiti said.
