Glass House PR Limited founder and CEO, Mary Njoki, has joined the prestigious SABRE Awards (Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement) Africa 2025 as a judge.
Presented by PRovoke Media, these awards vastly recognize excellence in public relations campaigns across various regions, including Africa. The awards also seek to celebrate outstanding work in engagement, credibility, and relationship building.
Renown as the world’s largest and most respected public relations recognition program, SABRE Awards has been setting the standards for excellence in public relations, branding, and reputation management for over 30 years.
Participants submit campaigns for evaluation based on creativity, effectiveness, and impact in categories such as crisis management, corporate reputation, influencer marketing, among others. Winners are selected through a rigorous judging process that evaluates the best public relations and communication campaigns across the continent.
“The SABRE Awards are all about celebrating the power of strategic communications, setting industry benchmarks, and championing innovation, creativity, and ethical storytelling,” says Ms Njoki, who is the only founder and CEO from Kenya on the SABRE Awards Africa 2025 jury, an honor that highlights her exceptional leadership and impact in shaping up strategic communications across Africa and beyond.
Njoki has worked with more than 100 organizations, including SMEs/SMBs in Africa, and African governments such as Zanzibar and Ethiopia through Glass House PR Limited.
The award-winning entrepreneur and public relations practitioner founded Glass House PR Limited in 2012, and has worked with brands in virtually every category, ranging from tech companies, real estate companies to consumer products and travel, unlocking brand imagination for SMEs in Africa, banks across the continent, African artists, and international companies among them Facebook and Uber.
“I am excited to be part of the judging panel, and I look forward to bring my expertise to this influential platform,” she says.
She adds that as the SABRE Awards continue to champion their vision, Glass House is honored to represent Kenya on the global stage as the only public relations agency selected this year.
“Our values align seamlessly with the SABRE Awards’ mission to highlight the power of public relations. I am anticipating a competitive process as we build up to the awards ceremony later this year. All participants are unique in their way, and together with fellow panelists, we shall pick the best without prejudice,” Njoki explains.
“As Paul Holmes, founder of PRovoke, puts it, ‘Proving and Improving the Value of Public Relations,’ I am excited to contribute my expertise and collaborate with like-minded professionals who are equally committed to shaping the future of public relations, which is already at play,” she says.
