Start

MPESA Foundation Academy successfully hosted its annual Innovation Day 2025 on Friday, February 28, bringing together industry leaders, educators, and students to celebrate youth-driven innovation.

This year’s event, themed “Small Ideas; Big Impact,” highlighted the Academy’s commitment to fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving among young innovators.

A key highlight of the day was the Innovation Competition, which attracted entries from Aga Khan Academy, Merishaw School, Nairobi Primary, OLC Mugoiri Girls, and MPESA Foundation Academy. Students competed for cash prizes and other awards, showcasing their ingenuity and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, the MYP 5 Personal Project Exhibition provided a platform for students to present independent projects reflecting their passions, skills, and innovative thinking. As a culmination of the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the exhibition encouraged learners to explore real-world challenges and develop practical solutions.

“Innovation is at the core of our learning approach, and this event provided a platform for students to showcase their ingenuity and connect with industry professionals,” said Antony Eysele, Executive Head of School, MPESA Foundation Academy. “We were excited to welcome stakeholders from various sectors to witness the impact of these young minds and engage in meaningful conversations on the future of innovation in education.”
