One of the biggest breweries, Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL), has introduced Windhoek Beer to the Kenyan market as consumers increasingly seek premium and craft beers for social occasions, with recent industry reports highlighting a surge in demand for high-quality brews.
KWAL boasts a diverse portfolio of ciders, wine, spirits, and Heineken beer, and has now added Windhoek Beer, a premium brand known for its purity and craftsmanship.
Crafted in strict adherence to the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516, Windhoek Beer is brewed with just three natural ingredients; malted barley, hops, and water delivering a pure and uncompromised flavour.
KWAL’s focus on authenticity is evident on its “100% Real” campaign messaging that highlights the beer’s purity, crafted with only three natural ingredients; barley, hops, and water without additives or artificial ingredients.
“Kenya’s beer lovers are becoming more discerning, and Windhoek’s commitment to purity and quality aligns perfectly with this growing demand,” said Lina Githuka, Managing Director of KWAL.
She expressed her enthusiasm for the launch, further emphasizing KWAL’s ongoing commitment to expanding its portfolio with “world-class offerings” across multiple categories.
“We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional beverages for every occasion, whether it’s beer, wine, spirits, or ciders. Windhoek Beer is a perfect addition, reinforcing our leadership in the market and providing Kenyan consumers with even more high-quality choices,” Githuka added.
Jonas Geeraerts, Commercial Director at KWAL, highlighted the growing demand for premium beers in Kenya. “There’s a noticeable shift in consumer preferences in Kenya, with a growing appreciation for authentic, high-quality beers. Windhoek Beer, with its rich heritage and superior craftsmanship, is poised to capture the attention of Kenyan beer enthusiasts,” said Geeraerts.
With the Kenyan beer market becoming more dynamic, KWAL continues to lead the way, introducing new products to cater to the evolving tastes of local consumers.
“This is just one more example of our commitment to bringing the best beverage options to the Kenyan market,” Geeraerts said.
